There are two main ways to clean windows professionally, and both have their place. We use whichever gives the best result for your property — here's the difference.
The traditional method
Soap, water and a squeegee, applied by hand. It's brilliant for ground-floor windows and for getting right into the corners, and many people love the classic finish. The limitation is reach: anything high up needs ladders, which isn't ideal around conservatories, extensions or three-storey homes.
Pure water (reach & wash)
Pure water cleaning passes ordinary tap water through filters and resin to strip out every mineral and impurity. That ultra-pure water is fed up soft-bristled telescopic poles, agitates the dirt, and rinses it away. Because there's nothing left in the water, the glass dries naturally with no spots or streaks.
- Reaches upper-storey windows safely from the ground — no ladders against your home
- Cleans the full frame, sills and UPVC, not just the glass
- Leaves a spotless, streak-free finish as it dries
So which is better?
Neither — they're complementary. We pick the right tool for each window so you get a flawless result everywhere, from the front bay to the top-floor landing window over the stairs.
Whatever the method, every clean includes the frames and sills as standard — we treat the whole window, not just the pane.
